Our journey at 1st Rate Property Services commenced back in 2004 in Auckland as a close-knit family venture. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of witnessing our enterprise flourish, and today, we proudly extend our services to the North Shore and the broader Auckland region. Although our initial foray encompassed comprehensive home maintenance, we soon recognized our passion for specializing in three key areas: Roof and Gutter Cleaning, Lichen and Moss Treatment, and House Washing.

Our journey begins with Afina, who brings a wealth of experience from her decade-long tenure as a retail banking support manager at BNZ. Meanwhile, I hail from Tonga and settled in Auckland with my family in 1984, where I serendipitously crossed paths with Afina. My professional qualifications encompass certification as a painter, expertise in rot repair, and recognition as an approved waterproofing contractor. We take immense pride in our four remarkable sons, each carving their own paths – an engineer, an engineering student, a builder, and Kaia, who has taken the reins of our thriving business.
